A Message from Mark Davis

President/CEO of Sun Hill Properties

The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted the jobs and lives of thousands of workers in the hospitality industry. At times like these it can be challenging to think about the future. But at the Hilton Los Angele/Universal City Hotel we remain confident about Los Angeles and our nation.

While we have a long road ahead of us, we are heartened by our recent progress. The hotel is returning to full operations, as soon as allowed by California State and Los Angeles County officials. We will continue to fully respect the guidelines and restrictions and expect to reopen soon with all restaurants and lounges now reopened, including our famous weekend Seafood Buffet which is will now be served rather than self-served. And while we are making necessary changes to protect our patrons and staff, there will be no change to the Hilton Universal’s friendly, top notch service. For more information please visit: www.hilton.com/en/corporate/coronavirus/.

And it’s with that same confidence that we recently submitted an updated application to the City of Los Angeles for plans to expand our existing accommodations to add 395 new rooms, a guest fitness center, wellness spa, and a penthouse restaurant, lounge and pool, plus additional meeting and conference spaces.

For more than three decades, the Hilton Universal City has been a resource for its neighbors in the San Fernando Valley and across Los Angeles. We are proud to be at your service now and in the future.
