The Hilton Universal City addition will include 395 rooms in a $150 million, 20-story building at the southwest edge of the property adjacent to the current 24-story building. The addition will include amenities such as a guest fitness center, wellness spa, a penthouse restaurant, and additional meeting and conference spaces. When completed in 2023, the 890-room Hilton Universal City will be the largest hotel serving the San Fernando Valley.
By expanding its existing accommodations, Hilton Universal City will help Los Angeles respond to the local and regional need for more hotel rooms and generate substantial economic benefits, such as:
935 jobs during the construction process
220 new jobs once operational
$6.185 million in annual revenues to the City of Los Angeles
